to my webpage! My name is Nadirah and I specialize in
Bellygrams. My bellygram show includes zils (finger
cymbals), veil, sword and lots of fun! Call me for
Birthdays, Anniversaries, Theme Parties, Graduations,
Block Parties, Restaurant Openings, Cultural Events,
Conventions, etc. (No Bachelor Parties Please.)

HISTORY
I began
bellydancing over 15 years ago quite by accident. A
friend of mine was taking bellydance lessons with Renata
Fleenor at South Bay Adult School in Redondo Beach. It
only took one lesson and I was hooked! I began
performing six months after my first lesson and have
been performing ever since! I have danced at
restaurants, carnivals, fairs, parties, showcases, and
private functions.
I have been
fortunate enough to study with some of the best teachers
in Southern California, namely, Fahtiem, Angelika,
Ansuya & Jeneani and Angela Buttrey. I have taken
workshops with Ma*Shuga Mira Murjan, Anaheed, Eva
Cernick, Reza Farnoush, Siwa, Alexandra King, Regina,
and Feiruz. We are so lucky to have so many wonderful
teachers in Southern California. I hope to study with as
many of them as possible. I believe we never stop
learning in this dance and should be exposed to as many
teachers and styles as possible.
I was a
member of 1000 and 1 Nights Bellydance Entertainment
under the direction of the fabulous Angela Buttrey and
have been a member of Cleopatra*s court for over 12
years.
Bellydance
has given me so many wonderful things, not the least of
which is the opportunity to become part of such a
fantastic network of dancers. I have made so many
life-long friends, met many wonderful and talented
people, and had such a great time that I cannot imagine
my life without this dance.
